Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences and understand how you interact with our website. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the website, such as the cart and checkout, may not work properly without cookies.
Our Store Platform (Shopify)
Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you, and it processes your information on our behalf to operate the store, including your account, cart, checkout, order history, and related communications. Shopify may also use certain information to provide, secure, and improve its services and to comply with the law. You can learn more about how Shopify handles personal information in the Shopify Privacy Policy and at the Shopify Consumer Privacy Center.
Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number on our systems.
Data Security
When you submit an order online, your information is transmitted using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption. We take your privacy seriously and use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information and to comply with applicable federal and state privacy laws. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. These service providers include our e-commerce platform (Shopify), our payment processor, shipping carriers such as USPS, email service providers, and analytics providers.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill your orders, maintain your account, meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt-out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent where applicable
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), gives you additional rights regarding your personal information. This section applies only to California residents.
Categories of personal information we collect. In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and IP address); customer records (such as billing and shipping information); commercial information (such as products purchased and order history); internet or other electronic network activity (such as browsing and interaction with our website); and approximate geolocation derived from your IP address. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor.
Sources. We collect this information directly from you, automatically from your device when you use our website, and from our service providers (such as our e-commerce platform and payment processor).
Purposes. We use and disclose this information for the business purposes described in “How We Use Your Information” above, including processing and shipping orders, customer support, security and fraud prevention, and improving our website.
Disclosures to service providers. We disclose the categories of information above to service providers that help us run our business, including Shopify, our payment processor, shipping carriers, email providers, and analytics providers. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us.
Sale and sharing. We do not sell your personal information for money. Like many online stores, our website uses cookies and similar technologies, and some of these may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. You can opt out of any such sale or sharing at any time using our Your Privacy Choices page. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as a valid request to opt out. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA, such as providing the goods you request and securing our website.
Your rights. As a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, where applicable
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights
How to submit a request. To exercise your rights, email us at support@dryptides.com or call 949-232-0650. To opt out of sale or sharing, you can also use our Your Privacy Choices page. We will need to verify your identity before responding, usually by matching information you provide with information we already have, such as the email address and order details on your account. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days, and may extend this by an additional 45 days where permitted by law, in which case we will let you know.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about the disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, our website does not currently respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above.
Age Requirement
Our website and products are intended only for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
